Inaugural Tangier Shrine PRCA Rodeo happening May 10 & 11 in Springfield, NE

Sarpy County Fairgrounds will host PRCA Rodeo, all tickets $15, reserved seating Omaha, Neb. (March 19, 2024) – The Tangier Shrine is producing their inaugural rodeo sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) the second weekend of May in Springfield, Neb. Two performances of PRCA rodeo action will take place at 7 p.m. nightly on Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11. All seats are reserved and cost just $15. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tangierprorodeo.com Featured entertainment includes the Tangier Shrine Clowns, Keystone Kops and the worldfamous trick roper Rider Kiesner and his wife, Bethany, performing trick riding. The Kiesners’ are the 2020 PRCA Dress Act of the Year. The rodeo stock contractor is Barnes PRCA Rodeo from Cherokee, Iowa. This past December in Las Vegas during the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo their bull won the 2nd go-round buckle when bull rider Jared Parsonage from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan rode him for 87.5 points. Rodeo Chairman Bryan Deming, the 2024 Potentate of the Tangier Shrine Center is leading the efforts. He along with his wife, Lady Erin, spent over two years planning the Inaugural Tangier Shrine PRCA Rodeo. “We are looking forward to our beloved Tangier Shrine Clowns and Keystone Kops being part of the rodeo and signing autographs. All of Tangier’s Nobles and their ladies will be an integral part of the rodeo’s success. The Tangier Shrine PRCA Rodeo will help us support our mission of caring for the children of our community who can benefit from the unique and specialized care offered through the Shriners Children's Healthcare Network,” stated Deming. “Nebraska is a state with deep agricultural rootsin farming, ranching and feed operations. The sport of ProRodeo helps demonstrate and educate fans on the skills of working cowboys and cowgirls plus it adds in the extreme sport of bull riding,” stated Greg McDonald, PRCA Rodeo Producer “The Tangier Shrine is comprised of hundreds of volunteers that are generously donating their time and talent for the rodeo. Our team is excited to work with them.”
