Buffalo County Fair schedule for July 25th-31st, 2018

KEARNEY, Neb. – With the summer in Kearney being in full swing, it is also fair season which means the Buffalo County Fair is quickly approaching.

Staff member for the Buffalo County Fairgrounds, Andrea Woolley joined Wednesday morning’s Talk of the Town on KGFW to highlight all of the activities that will be going on throughout the week.

While it is easy for people to get lost in the spectacle of the entire week, Woolley would like to remind fair-goers that it is families and individual citizens that can make the whole fair possible.

On Monday, July 30th, there will be an awards presentation for the Pioneer Farm Family & Good Neighbor, both being presented by the Buffalo County Farm Bureau. The family award is to recognize a farm family that has been around for 100-150 years. The Good Neighbor award will be decided by the fairgrounds committee after all nominations are received.
