My guest on the air every Monday morning this holiday season is Major Yockey with the Salvation Army. They do amazing work in this community in two major capacities: The Men’s Shelter (24 beds to keep you off the street) and The Feeding Program (offering hot meals 6 days a week).
Needless to say, pulling off feats of strength of this magnitude day after day, year after year requires monetary assistance and physical assistance. Here’s how you can help:
Put some money in the red kettles this season when you see the bell-ringers braving the cold and to be a volunteer gift-wrapper at Conestoga Mall December 22, 23, and 24 call Major Betty at 308.382-4855.
To volunteer in the kitchen call Wanda 308.382-4855.

For more information on upcoming events, tune in Monday mornings in the month of December.
Thank you for your consideration in this,
